Who we are
We are a team of dedicated community builders who believe that every act of kindness can help someone find their way back to stability and independence.
We began by supporting individuals facing homelessness across East London, offering warm meals and a safe space to connect. As our work grew, we saw that food alone wasn’t enough — many people also needed help accessing banking, employment, and mental health support. This realisation shaped our holistic approach, combining practical support with care and understanding.
Today, Community Care East works across Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, and Hackney, providing pathways to independence through financial inclusion, job readiness training, counselling, and community activities. We work alongside banks, shelters, and local organisations to ensure no one is left behind — because everyone deserves the chance to rebuild their life with dignity.

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure everyone facing homelessness or hardship gets the right support they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
Whether it’s a warm meal, help opening a bank account, guidance preparing for work, or simply a listening ear — we’re here to meet people where they are and help them move forward. We believe no one should face isolation, hunger, or financial exclusion, and our work ensures every person has the tools to become independent again.

Our vision is to see East London become a model of compassion and empowerment — a place where people experiencing homelessness can find hope, stability, and belonging. We’re working toward expanding this model nationwide, so that every community has the resources to help its most vulnerable members rise again.
